Hybrid IVN meeting Zoom & in person Dallas 2023

Saturday, 14th October 2023, from (Central US - Local TX Time) 0900h to 1700h / (Central European Time CET) 1600h to 0000h

  • 09.00-11.00 - Presentation of the national Mensa volunteer management systems/setups in use with conclusions
  • 11.30-12.00 - Bullet point list of needs/priorities of Volunteer Mgmt (Identification, onboarding, engaging, offboarding, and recognition) of a future Mensa solutio
  • Lunch break / Eclipse viewing
  • 14.00-17.00 - Discussion of existing reports surrounding Volunteer Management and developing a cohesive plan for future Mensa approaches with guidelines and comments 

Dear IBD delegates & main IVN contacts,

While there will still be an in-person presence at the IBD in Dallas, United States, we would like to encourage you to assign your representative to attend the session via Zoom. This is a valuable opportunity to exchange experiences, knowledge, and ideas to enhance solutions within your organization and establish connections with other National Mensas.

The topic for this session will be Volunteer Management. Virtual participants are requested to register via this form by Wednesday, 11th October: https://forms.gle/vQGioQpu6Ti9jScy7. The Zoom link will be emailed to the registered participants on Friday, 13th October. 

The IVN meeting at IBD is planned for Saturday, 14th October 2023, from 0900 to 1700h (Central US).

To attend the meeting online,  participants will need the following:

a. To prepare a presentation on their NM Volunteer Management system within the template format.
b. To present for approx. 5 minutes
c. To get endorsement by National Mensa/Chair, or in the case of DIMs the endorsement by DoD.

e. Priority needs moving forward
